Why Create Another Facebook Group?

We believe that there is no other group that presently serves our area with all the activities that this group provides. If one day a new group provides the scope of the activities provided by this group and is found to be better, we will happily disband this group and join the new group.

Why A Facebook Group And Not A Meetup Group

Facebook groups cost $0 and meetup groups are $200+ dollars depending on features. Meetup photo sharing capabilities are not as feature rich as Facebook. Most people already belong to Facebook and having to join Meetup and create an account adds an extra burden on people.
